Kelechi Ohiri, Managing Partner

Dr Kelechi Ohiri is a Managing Partner at Flint Atlantic and has over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare sector spanning clinical medicine, consultancy and advisory in the public and private sectors.

Kelechi has served as a Senior Adviser to the Ministers of Health and Finance in Nigeria. He was also an Engagement Manager with McKinsey and Company, where he served healthcare clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His functional focus areas were private equity, strategy and organization design. Before McKinsey, Kelechi worked with the World Bank Group, focusing on strengthening health systems in emerging markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Kelechi has served on a number of global expert advisory panels for several international organizations, including the Institute of Medicine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Bank and the World Health Organization and serves as Chair of a working group on Programmatic Sustainability for the Global Fund.

He is currently on the Board of the WHO’s Alliance for Health Systems and Policy Research. He is also a Visiting Scientist at the Harvard University, a Desmond Tutu fellow of the African Leadership Initiative and member of the Aspen Global Leadership network.

Dr Ohiri earned a medical degree from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree and a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management, both from Harvard University.
